PRL and OGDCL join forces to boost Pakistan's energy sector

May 24, 2023 (MLN): Pakistan Refinery Limited (PSX: PRL) and Oil & Gas Development Company Limited (PSX: OGDCL) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today to establish a strategic collaboration in Pakistan's energy sector, said a press release issued today.

The MoU aims to forge a cooperative relationship between the two entities, leveraging their expertise and resources to drive growth and innovation.

One of the main goals of the MoU is to explore equity investment opportunities in PRL by OGDCL as a strategic investor.

This would enable PRL to upgrade and expand its refinery operations. The collaboration is expected to benefit the energy industry in Pakistan.
