Prime Minister briefs COAS on Economic matters

Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Ababsi along with his economic team met Army Chief Qamar Jawed Bajwa today to discuss the issues related to economy.

Finance Minister, Ishaq Dar was also present with the delegation who briefed the Army Chief on the key economic indicators. Mr. Dar also informed the COAS about the local and foreign debt situation, Foreign Exchange Reserves and the recent comments from World Bank.

COAS was also informed about the projects under progress within the Public Sector Development Project framework.

The Army Chief inquired about the rehabilitation and expenses coverage of the Internally Displaced Persons within the country.
