President stresses to promote Industrial Biotechnology

August 26, 2020: Chairing a meeting on Jhelum Biotechnology Park in Islamabad on Tuesday, Dr. Arif Alvi emphasized the need for the development of Industrial Biotechnology which has the potential to enhance our exports as well as generate employment opportunities in the country.

Federal Minister for Science and Technology Chaudhry Fawad Hussain briefed President about the importance and role of the Biotechnology Herbal Medicine Park in the economic development of the country.

The President appreciated the initiative of the Ministry of Science and Technology and underscored the need to align Research & Development projects with the socio-economic needs of the country.
