17th September, 2018: President Dr. Arif Alvi has said that the information and communication technology holds the key for future development of the country, while talking to Mr. Abid Zaidi, Microsoft Country Manager who called on him at the State Guest House, Karachi.

The President emphasized that proper utilization of modern technology will improve the performance of Ministries/Departments of the Government and will help in efficient public service delivery.

He underscored the need for the promotion of research and education in this field and also welcomed the offer of Country Manager Microsoft to digitalize the Senate and National Assembly of Pakistan.

Member Provincial Assembly of Sindh Ms. Rabia Azfar was also present on the occasion.
