SCRA balance drops Rs915m to Rs26.3bn

June 24, 2026 (MLN): The SCRA balance decreased by Rs.915.51m during the week ending Jun 19, 2026 to close at Rs26.29bn.

According to data published by the SBP, the week marked a net buying of securities to the tune of Rs8.51bn.

During the week SCRA received a total inflow of Rs29.21bn through remittances, sale of securities and dividends. Inward remittances amount was Rs14.58bn, sale of securities were recorded at Rs14.56bn while dividend received was Rs69.32m.

Total outflows from SCRA through outward remittances, purchase of securities and taxes were recorded at Rs30.13bn.

Outward remittances were Rs.6,596.45 million, total securities purchased amounted to Rs23.07bn and total tax paid was Rs460.67m.

Market value of investments made in Equity, T-Bills and PIBS changed by Rs21.20bn, Rs8bn and Rs240.31m to close at Rs617.71bn, Rs104.78bn and Rs41.86bn.
