President Alvi stresses upon enhanced bilateral relations with Azerbaijan

October 11, 2018: President Dr. Arif Alvi has said that Pakistan greatly values close and cordial fraternal relations with Azerbaijan and is desirous of further enhancing bilateral relations in all fields.

The President said this while talking to Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Pakistan Ali Fikrat Oglu Alizada who called on him at the Aiwan-e-Sadr, Islamabad on Thursday.

Ambassador Alizada handed over a letter of felicitations from President Ilham Aliyev to President Dr. Arif Alvi on assuming the office.

The President stressed that there is a need to further enhance bilateral trade in order to strengthen the economic relations.

He hoped that Ambassador Ali Fikrat Oglu Alizada will continue to play his proactive role toward further cementing the bilateral relations between the two countries.
