PPL announces discovery of Hydrocarbons from Exploratory Well \"Adhi South X-1\", Adhi Mining Lease

Through an announcement on PSX, Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) has notified all stakeholders that the company, which has a 39% working interest in the Adhi Mining Lease and operates its, has discovered hydrocarbons from the exploratory well "Adhi South X-1" which is located in district Rawalpindi, Punjab.
The “Adhi South X-1” well was drilled to test the hydrocarbon potential of Khewra sand stone formation. During the test the well flowed 2.62MMscdf of Gas at 1550 bbl/d of oil at 32/64" choke.
