PMEX Index continues bull run, gains 53 points

June 03, 2020: PMEX Commodity Index continued its bull run by adding 53 points further to close at 4,269. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 4.497 billion and the number of lots traded was 8,546.

The major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 1.768 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 865.141 million), Silver (PKR 671.433 million), NSDQ 100 (PKR 321.319 million), Platinum (PKR 303.131 million), Crude Oil (PKR 254.341 million), SP500 (PKR 140.511 million), Natural Gas (PKR 96.468 million), DJ (PKR 67.448 million) and Copper (PKR 9.421 million).

In agriculture commodities, 18 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 8.993 million, one lot of Soybean amounting to PKR 6.975 million and one lot of Wheat amounting to PKR 4.221 million were traded.
