PMEX commodity index jumps by 28 pts, closes at 4,034 mark

March 05, 2020: On Wednesday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 4,034, i.e. 28 points higher than yesterday’s close.

The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 5.191 billion and the number of lots traded was 9,436.

Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 2.383 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 699.287 million), Crude Oil (PKR 635.040 million), NSDQ100 (PKR 592.746 million), DJ (PKR 335.760 million), Silver (PKR 140.433 million), Platinum (PKR 135.682 million), SP500 (PKR 108.985 million), Palladium (PKR 73.135 million), Copper (PKR 58.252 million), Natural Gas (PKR 23.991 million) and Brent Crude Oil (PKR 4.165 million).
