PMEX Commodity Index drops by another 25 points

April 14, 2020: On Monday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index shed another 25 points and closed at 3,702. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 5.799 billion and the number of lots traded was 12,814.

The major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 3.622 billion, followed by Crude Oil (PKR 726.687 million), Currencies through COTS (PKR 361.745 million), DJ (PKR 318.660 million), NSDQ 100 (PKR 280.987 million), Silver (PKR 236.269 million), SP500 (PKR 99.064 million), Natural Gas (PKR 90.239 million), Platinum (PKR 49.274 million), Japan Equity (PKR 9.631 million) and Copper (PKR 4.666 million).

In agriculture commodities,2 lots of Corn amounting to PKR 5.511 million and 7 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 3.096 million were traded.
