PMEX Commodity Index down by 63 points

July 24, 2020: PMEX Commodity Index fell by 63 points on Thursday to close at 4,625-mark. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 17.736 billion and the number of lots traded was 17,479.

The major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 13.003 billion, followed by NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.547 billion), Silver (PKR 1.366 billion), Platinum (PKR 597.199 million), Currencies through COTS (PKR 466.777 million), DJ (PKR 309.987 million), Crude Oil (PKR 221.735 million), Natural Gas (PKR 108.940 million), SP500 (PKR 77.360 million) and Copper (PKR 36.882 million).

In agriculture commodities, 2 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 1.047 million were traded.
