PM calls for fresh election as NA rejects No Confidence Motion

April 03, 2022 (MLN): The Prime Minister has sent advice to President Dr Arif Alvi to dissolve assemblies and called an early election, PM said in an address to the nation today.

The statement came minutes after the National Assembly Deputy Speaker Qasim Khan Suri rejected a no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan, terming it a contradiction of Article 5 of the Constitution.
