PLL invites bids for six LNG cargoes for May-June 2022 period

April 18, 2022 (MLN): Pakistan’s second-biggest importer Pakistan LNG Limited (PLL) has invited bids from reputed international suppliers for the supply of six LNG cargoes on a Delivered Ex-Ship (DES) basis at Port Qasim, Karachi, for May-June 2022 period aimed to reduce the duration of load-shedding.

An advertisement by PLL said the country was seeking the cargoes, each of 140,000 cubic metres, in six delivery windows and April 21, 2022, is the deadline for submission of bids.

PLL wants companies to supply the first cargo in a window of 12-13 May 2022, the second cargo in a window of 17-18 May 2022, the third one in a window of 27-28 May 2022, fourth in a window of 1-2 June 2022, the fifth one in 6-7 June 2022 and sixth cargo in a window of 16-17 June 2022.
