Pakistan pledges stronger Saudi ties via parliamentary diplomacy

June 23, 2025 (MLN): Pakistan is committed to further strengthening its brotherly relations with Saudi Arabia and emphasized the importance of parliamentary diplomacy in bringing the peoples of both countries closer.

This was stated by Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq during a meeting with a three-member delegation of the Saudi-Pakistan Friendship Committee of the Saudi Shura Council in Islamabad.

Ayaz Sadiq described Saudi Arabia as a close and trusted brotherly country, outlining the deep-rooted ties based on shared religion, history, and fraternal bonds, as per the press release issued.

He commended the Kingdom’s exemplary arrangements for pilgrims during Hajj and acknowledged its unwavering support to Pakistan during times of need.

He noted that the Pakistan-Saudi Parliamentary Friendship Group in the National Assembly is actively working to promote mutual understanding and coordination between the legislatures of the two nations.
