PKR snaps winning streak, lost 62 paisa per USD

February 21, 2023 (MLN): Snapping its gaining streak, the Pakistani rupee (PKR) on Tuesday shed 62 paisa against the greenback in intraday trade compared to the previous close of PKR 261.88 per USD.

The dollar was being quoted at 262.42/262.92 (10:49 PST) with the trades being reported at 262.50 while in the open market, the dollar is being traded at 265/268.5 per USD.

Currency experts suggest that the local currency may remain volatile until the International Monetary Fund (IMF) signs a Staff Level Agreement (SLA).
