PKGI receives conditional approval by SECP to commence operations

April 03, 2024 (MLN): The Pakistan General Insurance Co. Ltd. (PSX: PKGI) has been awarded conditional permission by the Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan to start its operations, company's filing on PSX revealed today.

This is based upon the fulfillment of certain conditions as specified by the SECP in a letter dated March 29, 2024.

The company is engaged in providing general insurance services in spheres of Fire and property damage; Marine, aviation and transport, Motor and Miscellaneous.

At the time of writing, the company's share is being traded at Rs4.8, up by 2 paisa or 0.42% compared to the previous session's close.
