PIA Holding clarifies media misreporting of PIACL's financial statements

April 11, 2025 (MLN): PIA Holding Company Limited (PSX: PIAHCLA) has issued a clarification regarding the information circulated in electronic media, stating that the financial statement of Pakistan International Airlines Corporation Limited (PIACL) was erroneously quoted under the name of PIAHCLA.

The financial statements of PIAHCLA for the financial year ending December 30, 2024, are currently under review by the auditors, the company’s filing on PSX revealed today.

It is pertinent to mention that PIACL is a subsidiary of PIAHCLA.

However, the media report in question refers to the financial statements of PIACL, an unlisted entity, for the financial year 2024, which were approved by its Board of Directors on April 08, 2025.

Moreover, it is further clarified that PIAHCLA was incorporated on March 21, 2024, and was subsequently listed on PSX on May 27, 2024.

PIAHCLA expressed hope that this clarification would suffice to explain the company’s position in this regard.
