PepsiCo to invest $1.2 billion in Pakistan in upcoming years

November 28, 2018: Prime Minister Imran Khan Wednesday said the government was committed to facilitating the businessmen and investors in every possible manner, so that they could take advantage of the existing opportunities in Pakistan that also possessed 100 million population below 30 years of age.

The prime minister was talking to a delegation of PepsiCo headed by CEO PepsiCo Asia, Middle East and North Africa Mike Spanos who called on him at the PM Office.

The delegation briefed the prime minister about Pepsi’s existing business in Pakistan and the future plans for making further investment of $1.2billion in the next five years, PM office media wing in a press release said.

The delegation also highlighted certain issues faced by the industry and expressed full confidence in the investment and business-friendly policies of the government.
