PARCO to set up the largest oil refinery in Hub: CM Balochistan

January 28, 2019 (MLN): Jam Kamal Khan Chief Minister Balochistan disclosed during a visit to Karachi that Pak-Arab Oil Refinery Limited (PARCO) will soon install the biggest oil refinery in hub, in addition to the one being installed by Saudi Arabia in Gwadar.

Going by media reports, while addressing the press in Karachi he said that a Saudi Minister has recently shown interest in Balochistan’s energy sector for investment purpose.

According to these reports, the CM termed China-Pakistan Economic Corridor as an economic game-changer for Pakistan, as he divulged that foreign investors from various countries have expressed desire to join CPEC. He entrusts CPEC to bring along new job opportunities and a better standard of living for people living in the province.

Taking pride in all the resources that Balochistan has to offer, Mr. Kamal said that the province has huge mineral and natural resource reserves, which belong to the province’s population.

He also informed that the provincial government has formed a tourism development authority.
