LIVEN Pharma, China's TOFFLON ink MOU for pharma tech collaboration

June 24, 2026 (MLN): Liven Pharma Limited (PSX:LIVEN) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with TOFFLON Science and Technology Group Co., Ltd. of China.

This marks what the company describes as the first such framework arrangement between a Pakistani pharmaceutical firm and a globally renowned Chinese pharmaceutical technology group.

The MOU was signed by TOFFLON Senior Vice President Michael Chang and LIVEN Pharma CEO Kaashif Hussain at a ceremony held in Shanghai on the sidelines of CPHI, an international pharmaceutical industry event.

Under the agreement, the two sides aim to pursue strategic industrial collaboration focused on investment and advanced manufacturing within Pakistan's pharmaceutical and biological manufacturing sector.

LIVEN Pharma said the understanding forms part of its Vision 2030 strategy, under which the company seeks to transform into a fully integrated pharmaceutical and biotechnology enterprise through acquisition of world-class manufacturing technologies and development of high-value biological manufacturing infrastructure.

The collaboration is expected to support localization of sophisticated pharmaceutical and biotechnology manufacturing, enhance export competitiveness, strengthen national healthcare infrastructure, and reduce reliance on imported high-value biological products.

LIVEN Pharma noted the MOU establishes only a framework for future cooperation, with any definitive agreements, investment decisions, or capital commitments remaining subject to technical evaluations, commercial negotiations, and regulatory and corporate approvals.
