Pakistan’s Forex Reserves Increase by USD 137.20 Million

August 20, 2020 (MLN): Pakistan's Forex Reserves increased by USD 137.20 Million or 0.7% and the total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at USD 19,655.50 Million on Aug 13, 2020.

According to data published by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) its reserves increased by USD 139.10 Million. This increase in reserves is mainly attributed to proceeds of US$ 249.4 million from Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB). During the week, SBP also made government external debt repayments of US$ 151.0 million.
