Pakistan’s economic outlook shared with investors at IMF Spring meetings

April 23, 2025 (MLN): The government’s focus on structural reforms has enhanced investor confidence and paved the way for Pakistan’s return to international financial markets.

This was highlighted by Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, during an interaction with institutional investors on the sidelines of the IMF/WB Spring Meetings in Washington D.C.

The Minister briefed the participants on Pakistan’s economic outlook, discussing the latest fiscal and monetary developments, as well as the progress made on key reforms, as per the press release.

He also emphasized the achievement of macroeconomic stabilization and the recent upgrade in Pakistan’s credit rating to B- by Fitch.
