Pakistan prioritizes Chinese technology: President

February 16, 2025 (MLN): Pakistan is eager to leverage China's technological advancements to drive development across key sectors, including agriculture and infrastructure, President Asif Ali Zardari has stated.

In an interview with China Central Television, he stated that Pakistan wants to fully utilize its geography and China’s development.

He emphasized that relations with China remain Pakistan’s foremost priority.

The President highlighted Pakistan’s interest in leveraging Chinese technology across different fields, particularly in agriculture.

He also mentioned ongoing work on special industrial parks for China in Pakistan.

He stressed the need to further strengthen connectivity with China through sustainable communication networks and road development.

Additionally, he noted Pakistan’s increasing cooperation with China in space sciences, as per the press release.

President Zardari stated that the Shanghai Cooperation Organization will play a crucial role in regional development.

He expressed satisfaction with the progress of connectivity and economic transformation under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

He reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to its all-weather friendship with China, recognizing China’s unwavering support in difficult times.

He also asserted that the world should not be concerned about China’s rapid growth.
