Pakistan gears up for strong presence at GITEX Global 2024

October 13, 2024 (MLN): As GITEX Global 2024, the world’s largest technology exhibition approaches its opening from October 14 to 18, Pakistan will be significantly represented at this prestigious event.

With a contingent of 24 leading exhibitors from the country, Pakistan aims to showcase its growing capabilities in the IT sector.

Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the UAE, emphasized the importance of Pakistan’s participation in GITEX Global.

He said that Pakistan is proud to be recognized as the ‘Tech Destination of the Year 2024’ by GITEX Global, which is a testament to our country’s progress in the IT and tech industries. Ambassador Tirmizi said that this recognition reinforces Pakistan’s status as an emerging hub for digital innovation and entrepreneurship.

Tirmizi emphasized that GITEX Global offers an ideal platform for companies to connect with global tech leaders, investors, and potential partners.

He further said that it is a unique opportunity for our exhibitors to showcase their capabilities and explore collaborations.

The government of Pakistan is facilitating a 156-square-meter exhibition space at the Dubai World Trade Centre where Pakistani companies are poised to make a lasting impression.
