Pakistan gears up for digital revolution: IT Minister

March 29, 2024 (MLN): The digitalization process is underway in Pakistan, and the country will progress through this digital transformation, Minister of State for IT & Telecom Shaza Fatima stated during a meeting with GSMA Country Lead Digital Transformation Saira Faisal on Thursday.

Saira Faisal congratulated Minister of State for IT & Telecom Shaza Fatima for assuming the charge of the Ministry.

Matters related to digital transformation, innovation and startup ecosystem were discussed in the meeting.

Saira Faisal briefed the Minister of State for IT about GSMA working, future programs and coordination with MoITT.

Meanwhile, Group Vice President E-commerce Gateway Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd Umair Nizam called on Minister of State for IT Shaza Fatima.

During the meeting Umair Nizam briefed the Minister of State for IT about the upcoming tech event 24th ITCN Asia 2024.
