February 12, 2025 (MLN): Industrial cooperation between Pakistan and Belarus took center stage as Federal Minister for Commerce, Jam Kamal Khan, embarked on an official visit to Belarus to strengthen economic ties and explore joint ventures.

The visit focused on enhancing collaboration in the automotive and agricultural machinery sectors, with the Minister touring key industrial facilities, including the Minsk Automobile Factory (MAZ) and the Minsk Tractor Factory (MTZ).

At MAZ, the Minister examined advanced manufacturing processes and innovative automotive technologies, emphasizing the potential for partnership in heavy vehicle production to support Pakistan’s infrastructure and economic growth.

Later, at MTZ, he explored modern tractor manufacturing techniques and discussed opportunities for cooperation in agriculture and industrial development.

He highlighted the importance of technology exchange and joint ventures in boosting Pakistan’s agricultural productivity and mechanization, as per the press relase.

The visit reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to fostering stronger economic ties with Belarus, focusing on industrial innovation, trade expansion, and long-term strategic partnerships.
