PACRA, VIS improve IFS rating of United Insurance to AA+

April 11, 2022 (MLN): The United Insurance Company of Pakistan Limited (UNIC) has announced through a notice to exchange that two credit rating agencies namely PACRA and VIS have improved the IFS rating of the company to AA+.

The IFS rating of 'AA+(IFS)' denotes a very strong capacity to meet policyholders and contract obligations. The risk factors are very low, and the impact of any adverse business and economic factors is expected to be very small, the notice added.

While the outlook on the assigned rating is 'Stable'.
