Operational merger of BIPL, AKD Securities to be effective from August 1

July 28, 222 (MLN): The management of AKD Securities Limited, formerly known as BIPL Securities Limited informed the local bourse on Thursday that the operational merger of BIPL Securities with AKD Securities will be effective from August 01, 2022.
On Monday, the name of BIPL Securities Limited (PSX: BIPL) was changed to AKD Securities Limited after SECP's approval.
With regards to the aforestated development, the company also requested the exchange to change the trading symbol of the company from “BIPLS” to “AKDSL”.
To recall, on June 6, 2022, the honorable Sindh High Court sanctioned the merger of AKD Securities Limited with and into BIPL Securities Limited.
