OMCs Review: PSO records the highest sale of POL products during October

November 4, 2019 (MLN): Oil Marketing Companies collectively sold around 1.14 billion tons of POL products during the month of October 2019, i.e. nearly 8% higher as compared to the previous month and 5% lower as compared to the same month of last year.

As per the data released by Oil Companies Advisory Council (OCAC), the overall sale of MS and HSD went up by 7% MoM and 18% MoM respectively, whereas the sale of Furnace Oil declined by 15% MoM.

Company-wise, Pakistan State Oil (PSO) recorded the highest sales at 732 billion tons, i.e. up by 5% MoM and 2% YoY. This was followed by Attock Petroleum Limited (APL) with an overall sales volume of 153 billion tons. The total sale volume of HASCOL and SHELL was recorded at 121 billion tons and 134 billion tons respectively.
