SSGC Board approves LPG, NGL deal with JJVL

July 18, 2025 (MLN): The Board of Directors of Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (PSX: SSGC) has approved the initial agreement with Jamshoro Joint Venture Limited (JJVL) for the extraction of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) and Natural Gas Liquids (NGL), the company said in a notice.

The decision was taken during the Board meeting held on July 17, 2025, at SSGC’s head office.

The agreement has already received endorsement from the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), based on mutually agreed-upon terms and conditions between the two parties.

Following the Board’s approval, SSGC and JJVL will now move forward with the formal signing of the agreement, which will also pave the way for the resumption of gas supply to the JJVL plant.

This development marks a significant step toward operationalizing a long-stalled partnership and enhancing domestic LPG and NGL production capabilities.
