Non-operational status persists for BIFL, awaits textile industry upturn

January 05, 2024 (MLN): Bilal Fibres Limited (PSX: BILF) continues to be non-operational, but the company remains hopeful that operations will resume once the position of the textile industry improves in the country, as stated by BIFL in its progress report issued to the domestic stock market today.

The report highlights that the adverse economic condition of Pakistan has continuously been facing different challenges that have resulted in the closure of further many textile units.

Moreover, the company remains optimistic that the concerned department must have been taking all the necessary steps to deal with the prevalent adverse situation and the textile industry will regain its vital position soon and accordingly.

“This will result in the company resuming its business operations positively,” it added.

The management of the BILF is also taking the necessary steps for the revival of operations.
