Nishat Mills enters Pakistan’s EV market with Omoda, Jaecoo launch

June 03, 2025 (MLN): Nishat Mills Limited (PSX: NML), the flagship company of the Nishat Group, has expanded into the Electric Vehicle (EV) market through its subsidiary, NexGen Auto Pvt. Ltd., by launching Omoda and Jaecoo—NEV brands from Chery International in Pakistan.
With dealership opportunities now open in over 25 major cities, this move marks a significant step toward bringing globally acclaimed, innovative, and sustainable vehicles to Pakistani roads.
Omoda and Jaecoo operate in more than 90 countries, with over 11 million vehicles sold, positioning them to rival global NEV players like BYD, as per the press release issued today.
This strategic partnership aligns with NML’s diversification goals and supports Pakistan’s clean energy and sustainable mobility future.
