NEPRA approves SBLC cost for K-Electric, capped at 1%

May 27, 2025 (MLN): The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA), following its decision for other entities, has decided to allow the cost of SBLC to K-Electric Limited (PSX: KEL).

The cost shall be capped at 1% of the SBLC amount, subject to downward adjustment based on the actual cost.

KEL is required to provide all the necessary verifiable documentary evidence along with proper working, calculations, and justifications for such costs.
