NCCPL re-assigned 'CWSM' code to Chakwal Spinning

October 10, 2024 (MLN): National Clearing Company of Pakistan Limited (NCCPL) has reinstated the Company Code/ Security Symbol ''CWSM" to Chakwal Spinning Mills Limited effective from October 11, 2024, according to the notice issued by NCCPL to PSX yesterday.

NCCPL also requested the local bourse to do the needful and notify the above company code/security symbol to the TREC Holders.

Earlier this month, the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) refused the application of the company for a change of name from Chakwal Spinning Mills Limited to Quantum Cloud & Al Technologies

Subsequently, PSX & NCCPL informed the company that consequent to SECP's letter, the Security Symbol assigned to the company will be reverted from "Cloud" to "CWSM" by NCCPL.
