Meeting of Standing Committee on Industries & Production meets

A meeting of the Standing Committee on Industries and Production was held under the Chairmanship of Mr. Asad Umar, MNA in Committee room of Agro Food Processing Company, Multan.

The Standing Committee discussed the working of Agro Food Processing Company, Multan and showed satisfaction on the working of the company. The Committee also discussed the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA) on the setting up of Regional Facilitation Office (SMEDA) in Multan and recommended that SMEDA to prepare a study so that in other parts of the country this kind of project could be started. The Committee further discussed the latest position / development of National Industrial Parks (NIP) and suggested to establish industrial park at Multan.

The Committee expressed its concerns regarding not sending reference to National Accountability Bureau (NAB) about corruption and irregularities of Steel Mills.
