MARI successfully completes commissioning, testing of SGPC Phase-II gas processing facilities

March 09, 2023 (MLN): Mari Petroleum Company Limited (PSX: MARI), a leading energy company o Thursday notified the successful completion of construction activities for SGPC Phase-II, the phased commissioning and performance testing of the gas processing facilities.

This significant milestone marks a crucial step towards achieving the plant's full potential.

Presently, the plant is supplying approximately 95 Million Standard Cubic Feet per Day (MMSCFD) of pipeline specification gas to SNGPL via MARI's own 20-inch, 25 km long, cross-country gas transmission pipeline connecting SGPC to the SNGPL valve assembly (QV-2) at Muhammadpur.

The successful commissioning of the plant's gas processing facilities represents a major achievement for MARI, and the company looks forward to further developing its capacity to meet the growing demand for energy in the region.

Following the integration of SGPC Phase-I and II and the commissioning of the remaining wells, which is currently ongoing, the plant will reach its full potential in due course.
