LPG prices increased by Rs20.86 per kg

OGRA denies rumors of ending local refinery priority for oil products

October 01, 2023 (MLN): The price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) has been raised by Rs20.86 per kg, the latest notification issued by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) showed.

The new prices will come into effect from October 01, 2023.

As per the notification, the previous consumer LPG price was approximately Rs240.13 per kg, the new rate will now stand at Rs260.99 per kg.

Moreover, for an 11.8 kg LPG cylinder, the cost for consumers has been revised to Rs3,079.64, representing a significant increase from the previous price of Rs2,833.49, resulting in an increase of Rs246.15 per cylinder.
