KSE Closing Bell – Index Loses Another 119 Points to End Week Below 33,000

KSE100 Index finished the final session 119.10 points down to close the week at 32,960.27, the first time since Oct 5,2015 that the index has fallen below the 33,000 level. The index moved in a range of 312.39  points or 0.94% of previous close, touching an intraday high of 33,132.67 (53.3) and a low of 32,820.28 (-259.09) points. Total traded volume fell to 122 million shares compared to 140 million from the previous session. Market Cap decreased by Rs.20bn as 193 of the 346 traded scrips closed lower, while 131 were up and 22 were unchanged.

In weekly performance, KSE100 index is down 896.73 points or 2.65% from previous Friday (Nov 20), while market capitalization has decreased by Rs.184.22Bn. Average daily volume fell from 175m shares to 143m shares.
