KSE Closing Bell - Index Adds 340 Points

KSE 100 Index added 340 points in the first session of the week to close at 34,183.85. Total Volume traded was 196m shares compared to 249m shares from the previous session. Out of 395 companies traded, 206 closed up, 161 closed down, while 28 remained unchanged. The most active sector was Power Generation & Distribution with 26m shares, followed by Cement at 21m and Technology and communication at 20m shares.
