KSE – 100 managed to gain enough to close the day positive today after gaining a total 70 points to close at 45560.30 points. Banking scrips helped the index gain upward with HBL +1.94 percent, UBL +1.30 percent, ABL +1.93 percent and BAHL +0.65 percent.
Furthermore, TRG -4.82 percent continued the negativity following its announcement that its indirect subsidiary “IBEX Holdings Limited” has decided to postpone its Initial Public Offering due to US volatile US Equities markets.
Volume traded decreased by 33.04 percent during the session after total volume clocked in at 109.071 million versus 142.604 million on Friday.
Commercial Banks was the leading sector during the day after financial scrips added more than 93.83 points at day end.
Sector-wise all share index top ten sector turnover was led by Chemical (39.034 million), Technology & Communication (30.048 million), and Commercial Banks (28.926 million) with Fertilizer (7.991 million) and Textile Composite (7.109 million) stocks trailing at the bottom.
KSE – 100 Index at the day end moved a total of 70.68 points up by 0.16 percent, closing in at 45560.30 points with index high – low range of 45604.59 – 45391.71.
KSE – All Share Index Volume was at 229.925 million shares, the value of shares traded for all-shares index reached PKR 9.447 billion.
