KSE – 100 Index down 90 points

KSE – 100 Index remained in a bearish trend throughout the day today after the index lost more than 100 points in the first half an hour. Index today lost more than 90 points; down 0.20 percent closing at 45387.77 points.

Volume traded at KSE – 100 index increased by 30.46 percent during the session after total volume clocked in at 111.137 million versus 85.183 million yesterday.

Cement, Fertilizer, and Tech & Comms. scrips during today’s session were at the bottom after collectively taking away more than 127 points.

Sector-wise all share index top ten sector turnover was led by Chemical (29.819 million), Commercial Banks (26.207 million), and Cement (23.066 million) with Cable & Electrical Goods (6.564 million) and Textile Composite (5.197 million) stocks trailing at the bottom.

KSE – 100 Index at the day end moved a total of 90.86 points down 0.20 percent, closing in at 45387.77 points with index high – low range of 45492.36 – 45122.75.

KSE – All Share Index Volume was at 183.275 million shares, the value of shares traded for all-shares index reached PKR 8.501 billion.

The index moved in the range of 580.01 points.
