September 30, 2026 (MLN): Attock Cement Pakistan Limited's (PSX:ACPL) board of directors has approved the installation of Battery Storage Systems (BESS) of 20 MWh, along with a dedicated 5 MW solar power setup, at the company's plant site.

The approval was granted through a Resolution by Circulation, the company said in a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Wednesday, under the PSX Rule Book and the applicable provisions of the Securities Act, 2015.

The project is aimed at cutting reliance on peak grid electricity, optimizing the company's energy costs and adding to its renewable energy capacity, according to the notice.
