KSE-100 index gains 366.69 points

September 27, 2022 (MLN): KSE-100 benchmark index gained 366.69 points (0.89%), to close at 41,518.23 points on Tuesday extending the previous day gains.

In terms of sectors, most of the positive contribution came from oil & gas, commercial banks, fertilizer, cement, and pharmaceuticals which cumulatively added 265.99 points to the index tally by the day end.

The index witnessed a volume of 124.6million, a decline of 10.51% from 139.32mn shares traded yesterday. Meanwhile, the volume leaders on the benchmark index were TRG (20.82mn), KEL (12.82mn), CYNERGY (12.51mn), FCCL (10.65mn), and UNITY (8.21mn).

The scrips which gained the most during the session included: NESTLE (1.79%), SRVI (6.85%), PAKT (1.78%), HCAR (5.02%), and KOHC (5.04%). On the other hand, the stocks that emerged as net losers during the day included COLG (1.50%), MARI (0.78%), MUREB (1.51%), IBFL (2.30%), and INDU (0.50%).
