Attock Cement board recommends name change to Falcon Cement Limited

October 05, 2026 (MLN): Attock Cement Pakistan Limited's (PSX:ACPL)
Board of Directors has approved and recommended a change in the company's name
to Falcon Cement Limited.
The Board passed the resolution
through circulation and recommended the proposed name change to the members of
the company.
The move is subject to approval by
shareholders through a special resolution and the completion of all requisite
statutory and regulatory formalities, including those under the Companies Act,
2017 and the requirements of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan
(SECP) and the PSX, the company’s filing on PSX revealed.
The company said the special
resolution will be placed before members for consideration and approval at an
Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) scheduled for Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at
10:00 am at Jacaranda Family Club, DHA Phase-II, Islamabad.
Attock Cement said it will make
further disclosures as and when required in accordance with applicable laws and
regulations.
