After a series of mixed closes, index today managed to end the session on a better note. Closing above more than 200 points, the index witnessed a 7.4% increase in market participation.  Energy stocks witnessed a decline as the oil rally in the international markets subsided after a power purge in Saudi Arabia led by Muhammad bin Salman.
