KP government approves Rs 2bln to equip schools with solar energy

The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has approved more than Rs 2 billion for equipping the provincial government schools with solar energy.

Official sources said that in the first phase 8,000 schools will be converted on solar system by the end of this year.

In the next phase, all the government schools in the province will be solarized.
