KEL to cut electricity rate by Rs5.13 per unit: NEPRA

November 11, 2022 (MLN): K-Electric is likely to reduce the electricity rate by Rs 5.13 per unit in November as National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) on Friday lowered the power tariff by around the same price for K-Electric consumers.

Earlier, K-Electric requested NEPRA to cut in price by Rs 4.62 per unit on account of fuel cost adjustments (FCAs) for the month of September 2022.

After completion of the hearing on the aforementioned request on October 25, issued a notification regarding the drop in the power tariff for K-Electric consumers.
