K-Electric successfully connects first unit of 900 MW power plant to grid

March 21, 2022 (MLN): K-Electric Limited (PSX: KEL) has announced that the first unit of 900 MW combined cycle power plant at Bin Qasim has been successfully connected to KE Grid (synchronized), the company’s filing on bourse showed on Monday.

This project will positively contribute towards bringing the electricity demand-supply gap in KSE’s service gap.
