Japan to sign MoU with Pakistan to hire more skilled workers

October 21, 2019: Ambassador of Japan in Pakistan Kuninori Matsuda has said his country would sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the Pakistani government to hire more skilled workers.

He was addressing a reception hosted by him for journalists in Islamabad today.

He said Japan will hire skilled people from Pakistan and offer them working visas to counter a growing decrease in its population.

He said Pakistan is one of the 10 top countries from where Japan is planning to hire workers.

He further said we need skilled workers from Pakistan, as Pakistanis working there in Japan are very devoted, honest and skilled and are contributing to the country’s development.

He said those who successfully get the visa and pass their first five years in Japan, would be eligible to take along their families with.
