May 20, 2024 (MLN): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephone discussion with the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah to discuss the robust bilateral relations between the two nations.

According to the Information Ministry's recent post, the two Leaders explored various avenues for further strengthening cooperation across multiple sectors.

They reviewed preparations for the visit of the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia Prince Mohammed Bin Salman to Pakistan.

Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar underlined that the people of Pakistan are eagerly looking forward to the visit of His Royal Highness at a mutually agreed date.

Both countries are making significant efforts to strengthen their bilateral ties.

In May, a business and official delegation from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) arrived in Pakistan today to hold business-to-business (B2B) meetings.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on the other collaborative side formed a 16-member steering committee ahead of the arrival of the Saudi Arabian business delegation, with the Petroleum Minister appointed as its chairman.

Notably, Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal Bin Farhan Al Saud, led a delegation during a two-day visit to Pakistan on April 16-17.

He had expressed great significance and interest in improving the investment ecosystem in Pakistan.

The Pakistan side had assured the Saudi side of maximum support and facilitation in fast-tracking the Kingdom's prospective multibillion-dollar investments in Pakistan.
